Early School Leaver Program
The Early School Leaver program is funded by the
Workforce Development Division of DuPage County (Workforce Investment Act).
The Early School Leaver Program serves DuPage County youth between the ages of 17-21 who have dropped out of high school. The following opportunities are provided during the semester long program:
- Extensive hands-on training in an occupational/technical area.
- Assistance in job placement and/or career enhancement
- GED preparation classes taught by qualified, caring instructors
Applicants have the opportunity to participate in a summer institute program, offered to prepare participants for the Early School Leaver Program in the fall.
Developing occupational skills leads to a sense of pride and achievement – necessary tools for future success.
