Nicholas Hackett has been named a student of the month for January. Nicholas is a junior from Willowbrook High School and a student in our Nursing Assistant Training Program (NATP).
In her nomination, Mrs. Bartels, NATP coordinator and instructor, stated, “Nick is always present and involved in class. He is respectful and helps anyone when needed. He has no problem advocating for himself, others in class, or residents at the nursing home.
He has completed his clinical hours and was very caring while at clinical. I was told by his clinical instructor, that he was a leader in the clinical setting.
Nick walks into class each day with a big heart, smile and desire to learn more. His positivity remains all class. And at the end of each class, he always tucks in chairs left out, wishes myself and the other instructors a good day. He always makes sure he is the last Willowbrook student to leave the class, making sure the other Willowbrook students are packed up and leaving safely, too.”
Nicholas has been an exceptional student all year and strives to be successful every day. He is an exceptional young man who is very deserving of this recognition.
Congratulations, Nick!
