    Chef Jennetta joined the teaching staff at Technology Center of DuPage in August of 2003.  Chef Jennetta spends her days focusing on giving her students a good base of fundamental skills in the baking industry.  She was appointed Program Coordinator by the director in 2006.  Chef Jennetta also organizes industry-related activities to offer her students exposure to real work enviroments, professional associations, and industry chefs. 
    Previously, Chef Jennetta was chef/owner of Sensational Sweets, which was a wholesale bakery that serviced the North Shore area, and formerly the Iowa area for seven years.  Career highlights include experience working in hotels, resorts, and restaurants throughout the United States and the Caribbean.  She is a 1983 honors graduate from the Academy of Culinary Arts, an American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Pastry Chef, a member of the ACF Windy City, past educational chairperson for the Chicago Chefs Association, and a member of the ACF Re-certification Committee, Sizzle Magazine, and College of DuPage Hospitality Advisory Boards. 
    Chef Jennetta has presented for numerous organizations to include ACF, Café, and IIllinois FACS teachers. She has also published for industry periodicals.  Chef Jennetta was recently awarded the Chicago Windy City Chef "Educator of the Year," award, the Café/Sysco "Educator of the Year," award, and the "Café/Kendall Green" award.
