Helen Figaro is in her fifth year at TCD.  She is the instructor in the Early Childhood Education program.  Ms. Figaro’s primary role is to provide early childhood curriculum and instruction for high school students.  She is responsibility for supervision of high school students both in the classroom and in the preschool. Ms. Figaro  work to oversee the lab preschool program as well as helping students plan developmentally appropriate curriculum. The goal is to promote effective learning using a hands-on approach.

• Director of Early Childhood Services, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago
• Director, Multi-Site Early Learning Centers – DuPage County
• Illinois Teaching License – Elementary Education
• Illinois CTE Educator’s License
• Masters of Education – Loyola University
• Certified Level 1 Instructor, ECE
