Mr. Gutierrez started teaching Welding and Fabrication Technology at Technology Center of DuPage in 2015.  He has been welding since he was a teenager where he got started in the family business. In addition to working at TCD Mr. Gutierrez also teaches various welding classes at College of DuPage. Mr. Gutierrez has had over 18+ years of experience in the U.S. Army National Guard.  He has served in Iraq, Afghanistan and worked security in the states for the military. His primary jobs over the years as a Staff Sergeant, have been teaching soldiers Engineering and Cooking. Mr. Gutierrez retired from the military in late 2018. In early 2019 the Gutierrez’s sold the family business.
