Intro to Medical Professions Lab Activity

Hands-on learning can get a little messy, and a lot of fun! 🧪🙌

TCD students in Intro to Medical Professions were recently walked through a lab simulation with teachers Dr. Urbanowicz and Mr. Heinrich for an interactive simulation exploring the digestive system. Students followed food’s journey through the body and discovered how digestion helps us absorb the nutrients we need using orange juice, bread, and pantyhose!

Messy? Absolutely! Engaging? You bet! Way to go, students and staff, for bringing science to life!
