Program Description

1 or 2 Year Program

Criminal Justice prepares students for careers in law enforcement, courts, corrections, and public safety by building a strong foundation in the criminal justice system. Students explore policing, courts, and corrections while discovering career pathways in law enforcement, forensics, homeland security, criminal law, cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, corrections, and victim advocacy. Through classroom instruction, hands-on simulations, mock trials, crime scene investigations, and dual-credit courses, students develop practical and professional skills. Key topics include criminal law, policing procedures, courts, corrections, forensic techniques, evidence collection, traffic enforcement, and report writing. Students also develop critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while gaining real-world experience through work-based learning and interactions with industry professionals.
