Thank you to everyone for your patience during today's secure and lock down at TCD. We worked closely with the Addison Police Department and handled this in a timely manner. Downers Grove North and South, West Chicago and Addison Trail High School students returned to their home school as they arrived to TCD after we were put on a secure status. The rest of our students stayed at TCD until the Secure was lifted around 2:40pm. We dismissed as quickly as possible, but students will likely be delayed getting back to their home school and potentially home.
All buses have been dismissed from TCD, except for York High School. They should be dismissed soon.
