She comes to class fully prepared each day and has maintained A-level performance across all assignments. Kenya actively engages in her learning by asking thoughtful, critical-thinking questions and challenging herself to explore differential diagnoses for patients.
As a certified nurse assistant Kenya had already begun her clinical experience and she continues to impress. She has received excellent feedback from her preceptors who consistently note her professionalism, compassion, and strong bedside manner.
Beyond the classroom and clinical setting, Kenya is committed to serving her community. She participated in a culinary-led initiative to provide a Thanksgiving meal for first responders. Kenya and her squad personally delivered the meal to the Addison Police Department.
