December 2023 Students of the Month

Congratulations to Dani Oliveros for being named one of DAOES's Students of the Month for December.  Dani is a senior at York High School and a student in our Medical Assisting program.

In her nomination, Mrs. Edgar, Dani’s instructor, wrote:

“Dani has been a fantastic student throughout the school year.  Dani has been instrumental in helping with ELL students in my class, doing her best to help the student understand basic direction as well as the material.  I admire her heart to help.  She will be successful no matter what she puts her mind to.  Given her goal to enter the field of healthcare like her parents, I know that her heart to help will make her just that much more of an amazing caregiver when she gets to her end goal!”

Dani strives to be successful every day.

Congratulations to Muaz Ali for being named one of DAOES's Students of the Month for December.  Muaz is a senior at West Chicago High School and a student in our Criminal Justice program.

In his nomination, Mr. Fitzmaurice, Muaz’s instructor, wrote:

“Muaz is an amazing young man.  His perseverance through personal struggles is admirable. He recognized his own weakness and made the appropriate changes to become successful in school. He has a confidence about him and is never afraid to try, even when unsure of the outcome. While in class, I often have to restrict him from answering questions to give others a chance. He’s always prepared and has a deep passion for this program.  He has earned the respect of every one of his classmates and commands a high standard that many try to emulate.”

Muaz is dedicated and passionate about his work.
